Meet the team:
We are currently looking for a Lead Paralegal in Corporate Governance and Securities! Come and join a talented and diverse legal team of corporate transactional professionals. This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate Governance, Securities and Strategic Transactions.
Where you come in:
• You’d be a key member of a talented, transformational team that leads Dexcom’s global corporate governance and securities function, including: Board and Committee relations, stockholder meetings, SEC matters such as proxy statements, periodic reports on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and Section 16 filings, stock trading plans and trade pre-clearances, ESG strategy and stakeholder engagement, development and implementation of corporate governance policies, executive compensation matters, and capital markets transactions, and has oversight of Dexcom’s global corporate subsidiary structure, compliance and expansion efforts
• You would collaborate with senior executives and seasoned professionals across the organization, including from legal, finance (treasury, stock administration and financial reporting), investor relations and human resources departments, as well as other global commercial and operational leaders.
• You’ll sometimes interact with board members and their administrative support.

• Expertise working with board portals (Diligent or Boardvantage), SEC filing software (Workiva or ActiveDisclosure), entity management systems (CSC, Diligent Entities and/or GEMS), MS Office, Smartsheet, DocuSign, and Adobe
• Experience with budgeting, legal vendor management, and matter management software and willingness to collaborate with legal operations team to leverage their support

Exempt Salary Details:
• The annual base salary range for this role is $91,400 to $152,300. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
Experience and Education
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
- At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
