Lead Interior Designer:
The right person will be a self-motivated creative influencer excited to pave the future for our Interior Design world. You will be responsible for collaborating on our design projects from initial concepts, through construction administration and management of installation. You will lead project design efforts, client interactions, and presentations. You will possess strong leadership and team building skills to see projects through completion in a timely manner. You will work collaboratively with clients, contractors, vendors, and team members, building lasting relationships both internally and externally.
Primary Role:
- Be a design team leader through all phases of the design process.
- Create, review, and revise specifications, drawings, furniture plans, finish plans, lighting plans, elevations, etc.
- Manage overall vision and style direction, through design development, product specification, fabrication, and installation.
- Execute project designs within budget to maximum client satisfaction and optimal company margins.
- Lead and oversee all client meetings: initial kick off, finish selection meetings, furnishing presentations, etc.
- Be the main line of communication with clients and relevant parties.
- Review and support the team in product selection, proposals, orders, receiving, and invoicing.
- Review and approve pricing, vendor terms, and invoicing.
- Mentor and empower associate designers and team members to ensure growth, opportunity, and consistency.
- Study new trends and advancements in product lines, keeping Collective Design at the forefront of the industry.
- Streamline and improve processes and systems to meet needs of the design team.
- Build relationships with internal and external teams: client, architect, contractor, consultant, and vendors.
- Contribute and participate in office activities, initiatives, and learning programs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years Residential Interior Design experience – luxury residential preferred.
- Exceptional graphic presentation abilities, creative interior design skills, and varied aesthetics of furnishings design.
- Amazing communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be assertive and clear with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Ability to develop and complete projects without continued direct supervision.
- Expertise of appliances, interior finishes/fixtures/furniture, architectural/interior finishes, lighting, art, accessories, etc.
- Ability to prioritize deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign).
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize various projects and adjust work schedule accordingly with tight deadlines.
- Ability to interact and support other team members including other designers, management, clients, and vendors.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 50 lbs.
- Must have transportation to get to and from our office in Frisco to Job Sites in and outside of Summit County.

Salary ranges from $75,000-$90,000/annually dependent on experience & skill level. Applicants should be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Summit County before starting work. This is not a remote position.
