Lead Developer .Net/Angular (Hybrid)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications with .Net and Angular. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Hartford, CT (3 times a week)

Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing software using agile development
- Responsible for delivering software using agile development practices with skill combination of .Net framework, c#, Microservices, APIs, Cloud platforms.
- Provide expertise in the full software development lifecycle delivering high-volume, low-latency, scalable and reliable applications.
- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.
- Ensure design follows specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes.
- Work in a team environments and mentor the junior team members.
- Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building,crafting,and reviewing code.
- Honing individual engineering competency using the available enablement programs.
Qualifications
- Associate should have 10-12 years of total experience & have architect level experience.
- Proficient and hands-on coding experience in .Net Core, ASP .Net MVC, Multi -Tier Architecture, Micro services, Entity data model, Restful and WCF services, API Development in cloud environments.
- Experienced in application development using AWS or Azure or GCP (Certification desired – AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Working experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Proficient in building presentation layer using any of the UI presentation frameworks/languages.
- Good understanding of DevOps concepts and process and CICD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo.
- Proficient in ASP and .NET framework.
- Experienced in TDD(Test Driven Development).
- Knowledge of commonly used IDEs such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, and UNIX scripts.
- Willing to learn new technologies and enjoys working in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Have an engineering and consulting mind-set to help clients reach their transformation goals.
- Excellent communication skills and participates actively in team discussions.
- Experienced in Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 114k – $164K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
