Information Services Hardware Technician

HOURS:
7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday
12 month work calendar

COMPENSATION:
Minimum $17.00/hour

GENERAL REPSONSIBILITIES:
General responsibilities include providing repairs and support for technology devices used by students and staff.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to repair computers, laptops, Chromebooks, printers and other technology devices
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills
  • Must have the ability to disassemble and reassemble a computer
  • Must be able to support the following software
    • Microsoft office
    • Google apps for education
    • Google ChromeOS
    • Windows 7, 8, 10, 11 and Mac operating systems
    • Endpoint protection software
    • Malware protection software
  • Must have basic networking knowledge
  • A+ certification preferred
  • Must be highly organized
  • Good communication skills
  • Must provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree required; four-year degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in the educational environment is preferred.
