Description
Language Arts Humanities Teacher is committed to social justice and making a positive impact on at risk youth. The location for this vacancy is the ACES REGIONS program in Hartford, CT. ACES REGIONS Hartford Educational Program collaborates with Connecticut Court Support Service Division, Yale Clinical Services and Community Partners in Action to support adjudicated young boys ages 14-18. The ACES REGIONS Hartford school-based program has been developed to provide students with opportunities to increase their knowledge in core academic areas all while learning skills to best navigate their communities as they are students who have been significantly involved in the juvenile justice system. We also provide reintegration services for six months after discharge focusing on academic and community support.
Qualifications
Connecticut Certified Teacher Holding the Following Endorsements: 015 English, 712 or 026 History & Social Studies, 712.
