KOL Events Coordinator

Description

As a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Events Coordinator you will oversee delivering best-in-class regional in-person and virtual KOL speaker events based on the identified needs of our US sales team at Inari Medical.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver attendee experiences that generate high levels of engagement, in-person and/or virtually.
  • Work closely with US sales team to coordinate meetings and events within established budget.
  • Work closely with Compliance, Sales, and KOL speakers to ensure high-quality, effective, and impactful meetings are hosted within AdvaMed (Advanced Medical Technology Association) guidelines.
  • Follow all policies and procedures for KOL events to ensure smooth event execution and compliance.
  • Work closely with compliance, sales leadership, and finance on business needs assessments for KOL speaker events and yearly budgeting and planning.
  • Oversee KOL identification and selection for regional program, including outreach and scheduling with the KOL speaker.
  • Oversee presentation material review with compliance and regulatory to ensure KOL speaker presentations are on-label and appropriate for the event need.
  • Requirements include but are not limited to invitations, registration, air and ground travel for KOL and program attendees, food and beverage, audio visual, amenity selection, site inspections and selection, billing reconciliation, program evaluations and follow-up of KOL speaker events.
  • Works closely with Professional Affairs team on closing KOL payment and expense reimbursement in a timely manner.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing feedback to provide recommendations for future program enhancements or changes.
  • Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented. enjoys maintaining meticulous documentation of reports, metrics, proposals, and presentations.
  • 1 year(s) in event planning, marketing, communications or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills, including ability to tailor communication style to audience.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to deliver under tight deadlines and adapt quickly to change.
  • Maintain a high degree of self-motivation and process improvements, bring new ideas.
  • Travel required; onsite support of events 1x a month. (Can be anywhere in the US and likely during the week).

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred.

Inari Medical offers competitive health and wealth benefits for our employees. The base pay range for this position is $32.00 – $35.00. A range of factors, including location, skills, and experience, will be considered. Actual compensation may vary.
