Responsibilities
Peraton is hiring a ITCC procurement lead for all purchases through ITCC for USSTRATCOM.
What you’ll do:
- Lead all aspects for the ~500 purchase orders per year
- Coordinate with leadership and customers across the command to ensure HW/SW is procured correctly, timely, and within policy
- Ensure procducts meet purchase request specifications
- Resolve any anomalies with the customer and/or suppliers
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain products at the best cost to ensure end users requirements are met
- Maintain communication with suppliers and customers during the course of the procurement cycle
- Document the features/benefits of products and stay current on supplier industry activities
- Nominate and implement best practices as well as lessons learned to help save cost
- Continually look to improve the procurement process to benefit the customer and ITCC team
The candidate should have effective communication and strong customer service skills.
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- BS 5-7 years, MS 3-5, PhD 0-2 or related experience or military service in lieu of education.
- – At least 5 years of procurement and supply chain experience on DoD programs
– At least 5 years of experience with a Government ITSM tool (ex. Remedy)
- Effective communication and IT skills
- Experience with USSTRATCOM (desired)
- DOD Top Secret Clearance/SCI

Target Salary Range
$66,000 – $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
