Job Summary

PSEG is looking for talented technology professionals to join our team. Our vision is to power the digital future of PSEG. As a Technology Professional you will provide support for all Client Services functions. Manage the day-to-day production support activities associated with production control and coordination for Infrastructure Applications supporting critical business processes for PSEG lines of business as well as to ensure solutions align with the business needs and objectives. This includes developing, administering and executing preventive maintenance programs, overseeing problem management, performing root cause analysis and corrective action plans. This position is located in our General Office located in Newark, New Jersey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the Client Services related Infrastructure projects and initiatives
  • Able to track and document process workflow for Storeroom
  • Work with Field services to ensure that equipment is shipped on time to locations Assist with set up and imaging of assetsPrepares product reports by collecting and analyzing application information
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Interface with other areas of IT and business units
  • Interface with clients on support requests and requests for new services
  • Report on inventory in a timely manner.Comply with ITSM/ITIL process such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Request Management, CMDB, KEDB
  • Assist with AV configurations in General office Ensure Quality Control and Assurance procedures are consistent with Infrastructure specifications, client requirements and corporate policies.
  • Comply with all NERC CIP and regulatory guidelines and standards. Comply with cyber security- related and other vulnerabilities as identified by the IT security team. Support all internal and external audit initiatives and remediate identified deficiencies, if any.
  • Identify continuous improvement areas and come up with new initiatives to enhance application support.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge):

  • Bachelor’s degree or without a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 4 years of IT related experience.
  • Overall strong technical proficiency in information technology/computer disciplines.
  • Strong MS Office skills (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly.
  • Detail oriented and demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and staff.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers and clients.
  • Good communications, consultative and interpersonal skills, including oral, written and presentation; teamwork, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation, with the ability to work effectively with internal clients from various business organizations and lines of business, and IT management and staff.

Additional Critical Information:
