Position Description:

The Information Management Advisor manages one or more operational IM projects, delegated by the IM Manager. Acts as first point of contact for the respective business on Information Management and confidently advises the business on how to use the full capabilities of Information Management solutions. Provides assistance to educate individuals and teams on IM compliance requirements. Liaises with the business and developers internally and externally to deliver Information Management solutions. Compares market standard solutions with in-house developed or legacy solutions and provides limited consultation to the business. Work activities and advice have influence on a wider set of processes and disciplines. Active in helping design fit-for-purpose Information Management solutions and having responsibility for elements of the delivery of those solutions. Complies with IM standards, manual, data privacy and other IM-related laws and regulations within their respective business and active in coaching others to comply. Responsible for identifying opportunities to deliver value to the business through both the implementation of Information Management solutions and the harvesting of existing Information Management assets, enabling the achievements of business strategy, value drivers and KPIs. Ensures that business Information requirements (as dictated by business processes) are fulfilled. Works under broad guidance and supervision by Manager / Team Lead for complex activities.

This role is based in Houston, Texas.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
• The Senior IM Advisor should also help by further shaping up the demand and to define what additional capacity is needed in the future, also this person will link to the broader Enterprise I&D practices and ways of working and build synergies with other similar activities (e.g. RESPCs) Plan and execute data migration to Client and putting in place IM policies for a company
• The Senior IM Advisor Deploy & embed & Information & Data (I&D) standards, roles, responsibilities, competencies, initiatives and services as defined in the business strategy, within the business.
• The Senior IM Advisor Monitors and propose & work initiatives to improves I&D health and operational excellence in execution.
• The Senior IM Advisor operates in close cooperation with Data management teams.
• The Senior IM Advisor is responsible for identifying and documenting the Information & Data (I&D) business needs of their clients and stakeholders and helping them to determine solutions to meet the needs or resolve business problems.
• The Senior IM Advisor also help analyze, design, develop, and maintain the end-to-end I&D lifecycle processes that meet business needs and integrate with business processes and IT architecture.
• The Senior IM Advisor Review and manage Information and Data Risks in the Business.
• The Senior IM Advisor Identify and prioritize Business Improvement Opportunities with Information and Data• Develop an Information and Data Improvement Plan• Execute the Information and Data Plan• Monitor Information and Data Health, Maturity & Compliance

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Experience I&D Management Framework practices and understands what is required to implement them effectively.
• Expert in Information Management Policy and Processes Skilled in Record Management Policy and Processes Skilled in metadata structuring and taxonomy used within Client Skilled in I&D Value Exploitation.
• Understands and can effectively leverage of the I&D support / services / operations environment.
• Experience in the I&D Management business process and can explain how it fits in the relevant processes of her/his business.
• Awareness of the wider field of I&D principles and technologies and how own role relates to other roles and to the business of the company.
• Experience in SharePoint/O365 tools (MS Teams, PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI, etc) along with thorough understanding of its capabilities, features and limitations.
• Experience in supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in project management, requirement gathering and organizational skills.
• Experience in I&D Lifecycle & Quality Management.
• Experience in I&D Business Analysis• Skilled in Business Partnering.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Nice to Have Skills.
• Experience in working with unstructured data sets• Certification as Information Management Professional (CIP).
• Certification in Information Management Governance

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74,600 – $181,800.
