Mission:
The mission for the Investor Relations Manager is to support the private equity raises for Spartan’s three Fund raises totaling 165 million. In addition the investor relations manager will work to provide exceptional communication for existing investors. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on company growth through bringing in new investors.
Key Results:
- Raise $55 million in capital.
- 50 calls per week.
- Generate 100 new leads per month.
- Attend 2 external investor related events per month.
Requirements
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Prospect and close new investor client’s month after month.
- Overcome customer objections, issues, or concerns as necessary.
- Generate excitement about Spartan Investment Group and our investments.
- Respond to sales leads in a timely manner.
- Attend conferences, meetups, and face-to-face meetings with potential investors.
- Work with Vice President of Investor Relations on strategic initiatives to increase value to our investors.
- Ensure accurate investor record keeping in CRM.
- Collaborate with marketing partners to improve lead generation.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
- Continually learn all aspects of real estate investments and investment strategies.

Autonomy – Someone who is a self-learner, quickly grasps information and takes ownership of their position. Ability to use show initiative and creativity in a macro-managed environment fostered by mentorship.
Financial Acumen – financial sales background. Familiarity with financial statements, private placement memorandum, private equity offering documents
Continuous Improvement – A drive to learn and do as much as possible in an entrepreneurial setting. Willingness to participate in leadership and ongoing performance and development programs.
Communication – Articulate thoughts and express ideas effectively using oral, written, visual and non-verbal communication skills, as well as listening skills to gain understanding.
Sales Acumen – Self-motivated and persistent. Understands financial sales and how to best generate and convert leads.
Customer Service – Thoroughly understands SIG and its investors. Works everything backwards from the investor perspective and accounts for investors in every part of strategy and action.
Collaborative – Works together with the Investor Relations and Capital team to achieve fundraising goals. Team oriented individual that can communicate effectively in a way that enhances productivity, teamwork and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or related field
- 5 years of outside sales experience
- Up to 50% travel required

- Salary $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 base depending on network and experience.
