Internship: Legal

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with administrative tasks.
  • Employ effective communication and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Research state renewable energy programs and requirements.
  • Work with the Legal team on project development milestones including:
  • Solar energy program requirements
  • Permits
  • Zoning
  • Real estate and title
  • Subscriptions and other revenue agreements
  • Support Business Development team in providing requested contract assistance.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field with an expected graduation date between May 2024 and May 2026
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite Skills (i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Online research capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with a variety of people in changing situations
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects
  • Candidates may be subject to assessment of skills, job match, or aptitude

DETAILS & DURATION OF INTERNSHIP:

  • Rate of Pay: $20/ hour.
  • Internship duration: October 5th to November 30th
  • This position will report regularly in person to the Annapolis office.
  • Hours of work: Up to part-time during school term (10-20 hrs/week)
  • Hours and duration subject to change based on company need.
