App Configuration Analyst – SAP CIS (IS-U)

PSE’s IT Application Solutions team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open App Configuration Analyst – SAP CIS (IS-U) position!

Job Description

The SAP CIS App Configuration Analyst will be part of experienced and collaborative group, SAP Customer Information Systems team. that works to deliver projects and support PSE’s business and an extensive SAP footprint. Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses complex problems, develops and implements solutions in an SAP environment (from list below).
  • Effectively understands relevant business processes so that they can be modeled in internal systems.
  • Develops and maintains scope and objectives for internal systems requirements as defined by the organization inclusive of SAP ECC, SAP CRM and other applications to allow for programming business rules into said systems.
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of their assigned functional area in SAP environment (from list below), active business processes, business areas, as well as industry.
  • Assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs and assists SAP project manager in scheduling budget tasks, and defines high-level requirements.
  • Serves as a resource to ABAP programmers, developers, and BASIS Administrators in designing, configuring and implementing an SAP system, which supports the company’s business and operational needs. Provides leadership and guidance to subordinates.
  • Configures complex application components (analysis, design, development and implementation of solutions) based on functional requirements without supervision in the SAP environment (from list below).
  • Deep understanding of project and software development ASAP or Agile methodologies and process and may assist in aligning the process with project needs.

SAP System Modules and Skills

  • SAP IS-U (Customer Relationship & Billing) & SAP CRM (Customer Relationship Management)
  • SAP Front Office/Customer Service
  • SAP IS-U FICA (Finance & Contract Accounting)
  • SAP IS-U Billing & Invoicing (primary)
  • SAP IS-U Device Management & Advanced Metering Infrastructure
  • Integration with Finanace, Procurement, Supply Chain (SCM), Work management (EAM) and other core modules in ECC
  • Integration with SAP Business Warehouse and other non-SAP applications in PSE IT landscape
  • Other functional Areas as required for supporting SAP eco-system in the Energy Utilties Industry.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two year degree or certification in a technology-related field or equivalent combination of education, work experience or relevant military experience, and at least 1 year of experience in related field.
  • 1 or more years IT experience, including systems development experience in the design and development of department-wide or enterprise-wide applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one (specialized technical requirements as shown in technical addendum) functional module with knowledge of other modules and can resolve moderately complex production issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated experience in defining scope and requirements of new developments to meet changing business requirements.
  • Knowledge of systems and/or business analysis design concepts. Demonstrated proficiency in the applied use of systems and process analysis tools.
  • Ability to facilitate interactive design and functional specification sessions.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual skills.
  • Must be a “team player” able to work with management in developing and implementing new processes and enabling systems. Able to work with end user groups to define application needs and identify feasible solutions.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and a customer-focused service attitude
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to meet objectives and effectively multi-task.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • SAP IS-Utilities (Customer Relationship & Billing) Cross Functional Experience
  • Full lifecycle implementation experience within SAP IS-U (for Electric and Gas service businesses)
  • Experience supporting different project phases
    • Requirement gathering and Business process design
    • SAP configuration and writing RICEFW Functional Specifications
    • System Integration Testing and supporting User Acceptance Testing
    • Cutover, Deployment and Post Deployment Support
  • Should have knowledge and experience of IS-U and Front Office processes, data model and should be able to quickly learn and support/work with other SME’s to understand impacts of changes in Front Office, Billing, Device Management, FICA, BW and other functional areas.

The pay range for this position is $80,200.00 – $141,900.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
