Interior Designer I

Overview

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time interior designer to join our Interiors team. This position will have some hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include developing unified design concepts by assisting mid & senior level team members with the interior design process and document development; coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultant; researching, evaluating, and selecting furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), materials and finishes; assisting with scheduling vendor meetings, maintaining the resource library and other related tasks.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture, interior architecture, or interior design from a CIDA or similar accredited university program.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in the design of commercial, institutional, or governmental projects

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:

  • Experience with design for commercial and/or public space projects
  • Experience in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience assisting in the development of interiors projects from programming to completion.

Salary Range: $40k to $60k – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
