The Innovation Learning Center Training & Office Coordinator III is responsible for maintaining the efficient and professional operation of Innovation Learning Center in Waterbury, CT- Eemax and assisting with the day-to-day operations supporting the Site Leader. This position will require the coordinator to work with Rheem employees at all levels of the organization, ILC Coordinators throughout the U.S. and Rheem customers who will be interacting with the Innovation Learning Center in Waterbury, CT – Eemax.

This position will serve our Water Heater Division, located in Waterbury, CT reporting to the Site Leader.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • In coordination with other key administrative support responsibilities, maintain and optimize daily operations for the Waterbury, CT ILC location.
  • Manage general ILC reception duties and coverage.
  • Serves as a friendly, responsive resources for all employees, callers and visitors to the ILC.
  • Ensure the reception area, reception facilities, conference rooms throughout the Waterbury, CT office, training supply materials, and classroom is maintained.
  • Managing training calendar and scheduling with other ILC locations.
  • Ensures ILC rooms are properly set up and functional in advance of meetings/classroom sessions and equipment is stored and properly powered down after meetings end.
  • Assembles and copies materials for internal and external meetings/classroom sessions and will be responsible for supporting other Coordinators who schedule courses at the Waterbury Eemax when it comes to materials and guest accommodations.
  • Manages all catering needs for the ILC and Eemax office staff, as directed. This includes placing orders, providing payment, coordinating delivery to proper location within the Waterbury – Eemax location, ensuring catering has been properly set up and cleaned up after meetings end.
  • Manages training center supply inventory including purchasing supplies, daily monitoring and replenishment of all supplies, and other guest accommodations.
  • Manages and maintains proper level of training materials for all courses set on the calendar for training at the Waterbury – Eemax ILC location. This includes workbooks, trainer presentations, promotional items, pre-designed and configured classroom kits for students, and any branded materials specific to guests when needed.
  • Maintains list of guests who visit the Innovation Learning Center in Waterbury, checking in an out of the facility, and requests for tours of the warehouse space.
  • Facilitates facilities driven projects to ensure all office equipment and services such as plumbing, electrical, furnishings and AV equipment are functioning properly for ILC.
  • Assists National Technical Trainers support as needed.
  • Acts as a backup for other key support roles as required.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED

  • Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
  • Ability to coordinate and manage off site dining and entertainment events for guests at the ILC.
  • Excellent planning, project management and execution skills.
  • Effectively manages conflicting priorities, copes well under pressure, and works well during time constraints.
  • Typically requires minimum of 2-4 years of experience.
  • May require vocational or technical education in addition to prior work experience.

HOW TO STAND OUT

  • Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to work unpredictable or occasionally late hours, or on rare occasions, weekends if needed.
  • Background in event or travel planning preferred.

Payscale for this role based in Conneticut is: $46,000-$57,000. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria”.
