Infrastructure Specialist I M/F

Roles and Responsibilities
• Install new software applications, hardware, and peripheral
equipment on the LAN, assisting third parties when necessary.
• Serve as the primary coordinator for desktop support.
• Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of the operating system
and application software being used to provide high levels of
support to users.
• Assist in providing computer/network support related to software
and hardware problems reported by users.
• Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage,
providing feedback to users, making them more efficient.
• Add and maintain users on the network; assigning application
access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations
within standards.
• Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance
when necessary.
• Maintain off-site storage of network and select PC backup media.
• Monitor and maintain asset inventory tracking.
• Perform other related duties as required.
Physical/Environmental Scope of Position
• Perform duties requiring kneeling, reaching, standing, walking,
pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 20 pounds periodically
• Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for
safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial
environment
• Sit for long periods of time while operating office equipment

Experience/Education/Certification Required
• Associates Degree or High-School Diploma and Net+/A+
Certification, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Two years technical training/experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products
• Prior experience with SCCM Imaging is highly advantageous
• Proven experience in managing Computer and User objects in
Active Directory
• Experience with Service Now is a plus
• Experience with application development a plus
