Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an Information Assurance, Privacy & Security Manager to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will become part of Department of State (DOS) Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations (CAEIO) Program, for the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA). This initiative is intended to provide IT Operations and Maintenance to modernize the legacy networks, applications, and databases supporting CA services globally.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains application programming interfaces (APIs) and automated systems to consume, process and distribute IP and URL reputation data on a regular basis.
- Develops automated systems such that legitimate information can be tracked, added and removed.
- Uses working knowledge of anti-spam, anti-phishing, anti-malware, anti-virus, and related threat prevention tools to monitor systems for new threats and reacts quickly when such threats occur.
- Uses automated systems to complement existing manual processes.
- Researches the procurement and use of internal and external legitimate reputation sources.
- May focus work on targeting anti-spam efforts on a single target country.
- Works with other teams within Symantec to develop infrastructure to collect and share information about mobile spam threats.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship and active SECRET
- Must have minimum 5+ years of IT experience
Education and Experience: BS degree and 10-12 years’ experience or MS degree and 8-10 years’ experience or PhD and 5-7 years’ experience.

Target Salary Range
$135,000 – $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
