Position Description
The essential functions for this role include working collaboratively with company management and the Legal Department to support the following activities:
- Manage immigration cases by compiling immigration eligibility documents, processing incoming documentation from government agencies, updating team members on case progress, maintaining case files and electronic databases, and providing overall support to internal customers
- Coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel to ensure timely filing of immigration documents
- Track immigration case workflow, renewal, and termination dates, and communicate updates to the team
- Draft support letters for different business groups and update the electronic database to reflect agreement terms
- Provide general administrative support, including editing, formatting, copying, scanning, and filing documents
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with excellent academic credentials
- Minimum of one year of full-time legal experience, primarily in immigration support
- Collaborate effectively with internal clients at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and accurately under tight deadlines
- In-depth knowledge of the immigration process
- Strong drafting skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Consistent and reliable work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the use of contract management software
Preferred
The following skills and attributes are preferred:
- American Bar Associate (ABA) approved Paralegal certificate

The base compensation range for this role is $22 – $28 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting.
