What You’ll Do:
The Ohio Department of Health is seeking a Program Administrator 3 to join the Office of Informatics, Data, Epidemiology, and Analytics (IDEA). The Program Administrator 3 will act as the agency manager regarding the analysis of project needs for Epidemiology & Laboratory Capacity (ELC). This position will also assist in formulating program policies for the management of InnovateOhio Platform (IOP).
Primary Duties:
- Provides technical expertise, guidance, recommendations, and assists with developing timelines, work plans, and evaluation methods related to InnovateOhio Platform (IOP) & Epidemiology & Laboratory Capacity (ELC).
- Acts as ELC Principal investigator by managing in excess of 25 projects.
- Directs staff in completion of grants for competitive and noncompetitive cycle years.
- Provides review and assistance to staff in project monitoring, reporting of performance measures, and coordination of program funds.
- Serves as liaison with federal agency and state auditor and develops strategies to evaluate current and proposed fiscal systems leading to reduced processing costs and system efficiencies.
- Acts as a point of contact for agency staff and external partners with any IOP or DataOhio Portal (DOP) related questions, access changes, training needs, and requests.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in business administration, management or public administration; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative &/or managerial position.
Or
Completion of undergraduate core program for academic field of study commensurate with program area to be assigned per approved Position Description on File; 36 mos. trg. or 36 mos. exp. in supervisory, administrative, managerial &/or staff position involving planning, research &/or policy/procedure development.
Or
5 yrs. trg. or 5 yrs. exp. in business administration, management or public administration.
Or
1 yr. exp. as Program Administrator 2, 63123.
