We are looking for a Human Resources Technician!
The purpose of this position is to perform clerical and accounting related tasks to ensure the completion of accurate payroll processing in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and local tax regulations and government guidelines. To provide support to the Human Resources Department in a variety of specialty areas including payroll, compensation, employment, benefits, and training.
Responsibilities
- Payroll management inclusive of processing Biweekly, Longevity, Education, Language payrolls in WFD & Munis Software.
- Reporting to include: Munis Reports, EEO4, Census, Annual Audits, Monthly Reporting, and other reporting.
- Data Entry of New Hires, Rehires, & Reinstatements.
- Processing of Terminations.
- Process individual payroll changes and charts entry history inside payroll software.
- Coordinates, directs, verifies, executes, and reviews payroll deductions and any changes associated with deduction.
- Processes and maintains records for all employee merits and evaluations.
- Quarterly/ Annual tax reporting. Maintain tax tables.
- Accruals processing & Auditing.
- Process bank, tax, and retirement deposits.
- Payroll processing including garnishment processing post payroll.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience in payroll processing, accounts payable or any human resources technical support functions.
- Candidates may qualify with any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
