Salary Range $65k – $70k
The HR Admin Assistant is responsible for HR related duties on a professional level and will work closely with HR Supervisor and Sr. General Manager. The position carries out responsibilities in the following areas: recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, employee relations, policy implementation, and employee law compliance.
Principal Tasks
Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department.
Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining personnel files, mail, scanning.
Perform payroll duties, such as time sheet review, incentives, bonuses, Concur expenses, terminations, for both weekly and bi-weekly pay frequencuy.
Assist employees with leaves, benefits, Workers Compensation, and HR related questions, as needed.
Assist with recruiting and onboarding process, as well as placement of temps for office and warehouse.
Coordinate orientation for new hires, and training for on-going employees.
Assist/lead the development of HR processes, policies, and systems
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
Assists with month end reporting and/or adhoc reports
Assist with open enrollment meetings, communication, and system testing.
Assist with programs such as, company events, safety committee, fun committee, wellness.
Perform other duties as needed by the company.
Scope of Authority
Frequent contacts with all levels of employees, external contacts are frequently made with insurance carriers and third party administrators.
Acts as company representative for temporary and employee replacement.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years’ Human Resource administration experience
4 year college degree preferred
Effective interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills. Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
