The Division of Administration provides overall leadership and administrative support for all Divisions. The Division includes the Office of Director, Communications, Fiscal, Human Resources, IT, Legal and Legislative Affairs.

What You’ll Do:
• Provide administrative support & assistance to HR Director and higher-level HCM staff assigned to multiple HR subprograms to include Employment Services, Labor Relations, Training and EEO
• Serve as initial contact for Human Resources office
• Respond to inquiries from employees & general public
• Analyze & evaluate divisional issues, concerns & internal policies & procedures & assists in making recommendations to institute consistency & efficiency
• Run reports &/or queries from various HR Databases and programs
• Assist with payroll & benefit enrollment of employees
• Serve as Commerce Co-Wellness Ambassador for statewide Take Charge Live Well program
• Assist with the development of the Commerce Wellness Events

This position may be eligible to work a hybrid schedule based on management’s discretion.

Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core program in human resources, business or public administration.

-Or 2 yrs. exp. in human resources.

-Or 1 yr. exp. as Human Capital Management Associate, 64611.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
