HUMAN RESOURCES INTERN

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated HR Intern to join our team. This internship will provide you with a valuable learning experience in the field of Human Resources and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and collaborative team. In this role, you will work closely with our HR department to assist in various tasks and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the HR team in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling interviews, posting job ads, reconciling benefit bills and maintaining employee records.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and conducting reference checks.
  • Participating in the onboarding process by preparing new hire paperwork and scheduling orientation sessions.
  • Assisting in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, such as team-building events, wellness programs, and recognition programs.
  • Conducting research on HR best practices, policies, and trends and providing recommendations to the HR team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the team.
