ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Administer benefits processing and resolution, including, but not limited to, enrollments, terminations, COBRA, FMLA, Disability, 401(k). Assist in benefit inquiries and questions.
• Champion our employee recognition program, years of service program, tuition reimbursement and other employee acknowledgement programs.
• Responsible for company’s wellness program. Collaborate with our wellness vendor regarding program content, quarterly in-house meetings, and partner with the wellness vendor for any information needed for our program. Educate and communicate with employees on wellness initiatives.
• Keeps abreast of federal, state local laws and regulations aligning to corporate guidelines ensuring plan or policy compliance.
• Coordinate participation in benchmark surveys to align programs appropriately to recruit and retain employees.
• Support the strategy, design, and delivery of communications for all total rewards programs. Create and present communication materials, such as presentations and information packages, to keep employees updated on plan changes and amendments.
• Demonstrates timely, caring, and thorough responses and follow up to employees regarding benefit concerns.
• Assist in the planning and execution of the annual open enrollment process including communications, system set up, and employee education.

  • Assist in the administration of benefits program to include Annual Open Enrollment. Resolve day-to-day employee inquiries and manage and update benefit premiums in our HRIS.
  • Manage and coordinate new hire enrollment in our HRIS.
  • Partner with internal leaders and our external vendor(s) to monitor disability (FMLA, short-term, long-term), communicate status changes and updates to employees and leaders (military, personal, bereavement, etc.).
  • Communicate and train employees and leaders on all Health and Well-being policies and programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-5 years of previous HR generalist experience. A background in employee benefit, leave, HRIS, and employee recognition administration is a plus.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and regulations, i.e., ERISA, HIPPA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, and ACA.

Starting salary range: $45,000-$55,000
