Human Resources Administrative Coordinator – Year Round

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

This a year round position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Human Resources (HR) department is looking for an independent, detail orientated and friendly individual to work as an Administrative Coordinator and assist in maintaining digital employee records. You will assist in the day-to-day operation of the HR Administrative office and assist our Team Members and department leaders with your can-do attitude smile, friendliness, and great service to our team.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Activation of New/Returning Hires, International Hires, and Lessee/Vendor Employees in UKG – HR System
  • Checks for and inputs status changes such as pay rate changes, work location transfers, address updates, direct deposits, and various other status changes in UKG – HR System
  • Tracks and reports on orientation and department training status and updates
  • Uploading and filing completed documents and make copies made when requested
  • Assist with planning and execution of Employee Relations events
  • Assist with Team Six recognition program
  • Maintaining stock of administrative supplies, receiving and counting inventory
  • Support all other areas of HR and any other duties assigned by Management
  • Provide superb guest-centered service to our employees

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent/Some college preferred, but not required
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, vibrant team environment
  • General knowledge or willingness to learn UKG, Employee Attendance & Security, and Optimum 8
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Friendly, outgoing personality, and the desire to interact with Team Members and address their needs
  • 1 years+ experience in data entry or administrative type work preferred, but not required
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral format
  • Be available to work most weekends and holidays, as well as evenings and no less than 30 hours per week
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change, as well as the ability and willingness to assist in other aspects of Human Resources or park operations

OTHER NOTES:

  • May perform other duties beyond scope of above as necessary to support the park as a whole
  • Reports to Human Resources Leadership
