Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Head of Dealer Health & Compensation will be working within the Boost Mobile Sales Operations team. This role will be working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead a team of managers, analysts, and project managers to oversee dealer network health, identifying and addressing underperforming dealers while recommending strategies for improvement
- Develop and manage commission plans and promotional campaigns that align sales targets with company goals and budget
- Build and manage P&L financial models to understand how changes in the business will impact dealer profitability
- Own relationships with key strategic third party partners
- Manage end to end operations of our dealer compensation program, and function as the main point of contact for issues and escalations
- Coordinate device reimbursement programs, streamlining operations and ensuring fair dealer compensation
- Define KPIs, assess program effectiveness, and provide regular performance reports to senior management
- Develop and automate daily/weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting for prepaid sales teams and distributors
- Handle key operational support functions and special ad-hoc projects for the prepaid sales department and provide operational support and guidance for our logistics and technology partners
- Responsible for various senior meeting content and reporting
- Work with DISH headquarters related to reporting and audit requirements
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Minimum skills/experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of relevant experience supporting a sales or operations organization and leading teams
- 3+ years of experience with financial modeling
- Strong knowledge of how to read and understand Income Statements
- Advanced in GSuite and MS Office
- Ability to travel and work with local leadership to identify operational shortfalls and develop and execute fixes
- Ability to quickly ingest data and turn it into actionable reporting for teams
- Relationship management across sales operations team, sales team, and other departments
Desired skills/experience:
- Ability to present sales analysis to the Boost team as well as distributors and retailer partners (in person/virtual)
- Demonstrates the ability to multi-task, prioritize team’s work, and drive positive change consistent with overarching organizational goals
- Proactively recognizes and defines opportunities/problems, determines solutions to address them, and independently oversees solutions through to completion
- Demonstrates strong negotiation skills at all levels of the organization, striving for win-win solutions
- Regularly recommends changes that improve existing business processes, overall enterprise performance, and sales operations.
- Strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to plan, schedule, organize, coordinate, manage, & evaluate project efficiency.
- Ability to deliver popular and unpopular messages with the appropriate level of transparency
- Developer experience (Google App Scripts, Python, SQL, Javascript)
- Efficiency through automation
Salary Range
Compensation: $115,500.00/Year – $165,000.00/Year
