About the Role

The Product team at Walmart Connect (WMC) is comprised of three core groups: Product Management, Product Operations and Product Marketing. We work closely with the WMC business, engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders to conceptualize, design, launch and scale our core platforms and experiences. The Principle Product Manager of product analytics is a new role reporting into Director of Product management – analytics . In this role you will

  • Serve as thought leader and trusted advisor to Product leadership and the larger product management / product marketing team by working with them through the entire product lifecycle from discovery, A/B testing and post launch insights and learnings
  • Demonstrate proactive, solution-oriented leadership — you are always ahead of what’s coming next, you solve problems in and outside of your core area, you are comfortable saying no to request that do not help inform key decisions/ priorities
  • Proactively identify product opportunities within and beyond product ownerships areas through a hypothesis driven culture and data driven deep dives
  • Responsible for organizing and assembling the resources, technology, and processes to support the product analytics needs of Connect’s product/ product marketing teams
  • Have an intimate understanding of various data sources and how to organize and utilize them to deliver critical insights to the broader organization
  • Partner with Product Managers and engineering teams to accurately track and analyze existing and new product initiatives.
  • Leverage clickstream data to identify opportunities for improving customer experience and influence product roadmaps. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to influence decision-making
  • Create effective reporting and dashboards by applying expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Splunk to monitor product performance
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product performance and monitoring product health.
  • Define the product engagement data capture strategy and collaborate with engineering to ensure the accuracy of the data captured
  • Use statistical power analysis and hypothesis testing to shape and drive the analytics strategy for the Product Management team
  • Design A/B tests to test and quantify the impact of new product feature
  • Drive A/B testing as an ongoing discipline to constantly improve product features and provide better experiences for customers across all platforms (e.g., Desktop, Mobile, etc.).
  • Provide and supports the implementation of product solutions
  • Provide data driven insights and deliver recommendations that address opportunities for product improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 + years of experience managing teams of individual contributors in Product Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent field
  • 8 + years of professional experience in Product Analytics, Product Management, Data Science or equivalent field preferably for a consumer facing, engagement based, digital product
  • Extensive, hands-on professional experience with AB experimentation and regression modeling
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SQL to query and process large amount of clickstream and transactions data from different databases such as Teradata, bigQuery , Google cloud, hive to identify opportunities.
  • Experience with visualization tools such as tableau, looker.
  • BA/BS or Graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • Highly motivated, proactive and able to solve diverse problems efficiently
  • Excellent written and communication skills; Can lead communication and collaboration with a diverse group of Senior cross-functional partners
  • Proven history of decision making excellence and cross-functional influence through insights

The annual salary range for this position is $126,000.00-$216,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives
