Leidos is seeking a General Software Developer with Geospatial development experience. The successful developer will support existing applications as well as contribute to new designs that support emerging requirements. Applications generally support Geospatial image analysts and manual SOM creation. This position requires a TS/SCI security clearance.
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support the maintenance and development of web applications written using Java and Oracle. Support of legacy thick clients that utilize Java is also required. Development and support of a test-driven CI/CD pipeline is also required for supported applications. The selected person for this position must also contribute to turning requirements for systems and components into technology selection and development tasks. Good communication skills are a must.
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Experience using ReactJS Demonstrated Java/Maven/Ant skills
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure
- Demonstrated CI/CD development and maintenance
- Familiar with Agile best practices
- Demonstrated experience in a multi-project environment using technologies like GIT and Jira.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing front end Geospatial solutions (e.g., OSM/ESRI/GDAL)
- Demonstrated experience planning and presenting user interface designs
- Familiarity with Docker
- Demonstrated experience with problem resolution to include organizing and structuring solutions to complex problems. This includes the ability to plan projects, meet objectives, develop contingencies, and produce schedules.
- Experience with the GRIP application
This position has a target range for compensation of $150,000 – $175,000. This is a firm fixed price contract and does not allow for negotiations outside of this target range.
Pay Range: Pay Range $118,300.00 – $182,000.00 – $245,700.00
