LSNF handles morethan 7,700 cases a year and does not charge their clients for their legalservices. Be a part of a growing non-profit law firm, with 105+ employees in sevenoffices across North Florida, that seeks legal justice while understanding thevalue of work-life balance. The Grants Coordinator works independently and as part of both the grant and fiscal team to support the organization’s continue growth to over 80 independent funding sources.
Candidates must have strong organizational and project management skills, be comfortable with office technology, and able to learn client database information systems as well as various grant billing and reporting platforms. Candidates must be comfortable with Excel and utilizing spreadsheets, and have an understanding of basic fiscal concepts. Experience with grant deadline management to include deliverable deadlines, reporting requirements, as well as communicating and calendaring grant events for team members is highly preferred. Knowledge of grant contracts and billing for non- profit funding sources is beneficial. The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment and discretion is essential. This position is a full-time (35 hour a week), salaried, non-exempt position with an in-person work schedule, but can support a four-day (M-Th) or traditional five-day (M-F) work week.
Qualified applicants will possess:
- Year-for-year work experience in grant management or administrative role with grant management duties may be substituted for education requirement.
- Associates degree in business, accounting, or project management related field with three years experience in the field OR
- A four-year bachelors degree in business administration or a related degree with one year of related experience
Entry level salary of $36,000 is negotiable, depending on experience. Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes:
- A four-day or five-day (35 hour) work week
- Paid time off includes holidays, sick leave, and personal leave (which after two years, increases to four weeks per year)
- 100% fully paid health insurance for employee & dependent children after 60 days of employment
- Employer paid life insurance policy of $25,000
- Employer contributes 6% to retirement/ 401K plan, after one year of full-time service
