HID’s Citizen ID Solutions (CID) Business
Governments across the globe use our identity solutions to equip their citizens with reliable identification and access to government services. CID solutions provide secure citizen identification, enable international travel, and grant access to many government services. This role reports into the Senior Director, Program Management, and will support the governmental agencies within the United States and the Caribbean geographies. You are responsible for the overall performance of programs, including planning, coordinating, and ensuring execution of government contracts and deliverables.
As our Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Being the primary point of contact with government customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with a global team that is involved in the design and development of secure credentials and enterprise-wide IT systems.
- Managing all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and team aspects of the contract.
- Directing program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with the client stakeholders to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, solve problems, and drive customer success.
- Reporting on all financial, technical, administrative, contractual, and personnel aspects of the contract for customer and HID stakeholders.
- Managing cross-functional global teams responsible for delivering high-quality program capabilities on time and within budget, including subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensuring that all work complies with the contract terms and conditions.
- Identifying, assessing, and resolving any complex business problems, issues and risks.
- Managing HID resources needed for effective program management, including team resources, contracts administration, security, and finance support.
- Ensuring and responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned programs.
- Engaging team members and customers on a routine basis to fully understand customer requirements and employee capabilities.
- Preparing and providing various reports and technical reviews for stakeholders.
- Contribute program management expertise to pre-sales and proposals activities, driving toward winning new and continuing business.
What we will love about your background:
- Experience as an IT systems integrator that can work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement IT systems.
- Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions.
- Experience collaborating and coordinating across project teams and components facilitating information sharing, reuse, and productivity improvements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Your Experience and Education include:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education plus relevant work experience desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing substantial professional IT projects, printing, or lamination for secure credential personalization programs strongly preferred.
- Current PMI PMP certification highly preferred.
- Up to 30% travel may be required.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary in the United States is $138,050 to $156,000.
