Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented, self-directed marketing leader to generate awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) cloud computing platform within the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) customer segment.
Key job responsibilities
This role will focus on ‘New Customer Acquisition’ and build out programs that field-marketing teams can leverage to deliver against New Customer Acquisition goals.
Key Responsibilities:
-Segment the ISV market and identify a target market, leveraging internal and external data. Evangelize this internally so field marketing, sales and other marketing stakeholders rally around this target market.
-Define the current and target customer journey for new AWS ISV customers. Where there are gaps, work to leverage existing programs or build out net-new programs, to fill the gaps.
-Work with internal teams to ensure flagship pan-AWS marketing investments (e.g. global solution campaigns, 1st party events such as re:Invent) are tailored to the ISV audience.
-Define marketing KPIs and goals for the ISV New Customer Acquisition motion. Work with data science teams to implement KPI tracking mechanisms.
-Develop programs field teams can leverage to meet KPIs and goals.
-Lead the annual planning process to ensure the ISV New Customer Acquisition motion is funded and resourced sufficiently.
-Work in partnership with the Market Place marketing team to ensure new customers onboard to MarketPlace.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
– Adept at making resources allocation decisions and tradeoffs to make the appropriate long-term strategic investments while maintaining the short-term delivery of results.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience working cross-functionally with partner teams to drive adoption and usage of brand assets and messaging
– Experience in strategic marketing management and market analysis and demonstrated ability to build and execute a strategy with clear goals and objectives to align to business and service objectives, and support portfolio objectives
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market.
