Senior Technical Targeter (Cyber Activities)

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking an experienced Senior-Level Intelligence Analyst for our client’s operational requirements on a mission focused program within a challenging, dynamic setting located in the Virginia area. Successful candidates in this position will be responsible for identifying people, relationships, and organizations with access to information needed to advance U.S. national security interests, such as disrupting cyber threats, counterintelligence threats, drug networks, illegal arms trade, etc. Also responsible for combining specialized training, advanced analytic skills and tools, and in-depth knowledge of and experience in operational trade craft to identify opportunities to initiate or enhance foreign intelligence and counterintelligence.

Must have personal integrity; exhibit initiative, creativity, and flexibility; apply interpersonal, communications, and problem-solving skills; and demonstrate ability to collaborate, build a network of IC relationships, and continually learn.

Qualifications

Bachelors of Arts or Bachelors of Science from an accredited college or university, with 10-12 years of relevant professional experience -OR- High School Diploma and 14 years of relevant professional work experience (within the sponsor’s organization or other relevant Intel Community organization) in lieu of degree.

  • Must have a current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience supporting IC cyber activities
  • Targeting experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytic, writing, briefing skills when presenting results of targeting research
  • Familiar with field HUMINT or cyber collection/exploitation mission
  • Experience with customer’s report writing standards and through various reporting methods
  • Experience working with the customer proprietary databases and analytic tools such as Proton, Qlix, and Spinnaker
  • Basic working knowledge of telecommunications, including cellular networks and computer networks
  • Ability to multi-task to manage time and priorities in a collaborative manner
  • Ability to deal effectively, comfortably, and confidently with people at all levels of responsibility, authority, and rank
  • Ability to shift focus quickly, work on multiple tasks concurrently, and excel in high-pressure/high-impact situations
  • Desired but not required: Foreign language skills (spoken, written, or reading) of mission-specific needs
  • Availability for TDY travel, if necessary

Range for Posting

Salary Minimum: $72,500
Salary Mid: $145,000
Salary Maximum: $181,300

The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
