Description
As an Associate Supervisor for FamilyForward’s Foster Care Program you will provide clinical and case management support of Family Case Managers (FCM), who provide case management for children entering, re-entering, or currently are in out-of-home care. The Associate Supervisory assumes the responsibilities of the Supervisor of the case management team as needed.

What to expect on a given day as an Associate Supervisor:
- You will work as a supervisory member for the FamilyForward Foster Care case management team.
- You will assist staff with the utilization of family-strength based approach including crisis intervention, behavioral skills training, parenting, and family life education, and resource service coordination.
- You will be responsible for monitoring the successful completion of all documentation, including state visitation reporting forms, guardianship paperwork, follow-up assessments, and emails to community partners.
- You will be in rotation for On-Call Supervisor with other Children’s Permanency Partnerships (CPP) agencies.
- You must complete 20 hours of in-service training annually, along with annual First Aid/CPR training, training in Child abuse and Neglect identification, and Mandated reporting and prevention training.
- You may be asked to attend court hearings by your supervisor.
- You will be actively involved in the Performance Quality Improvement process and standards.
- You will update the DeFran and FACES systems weekly for changes on every case.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that children 14 years of age or older are appropriately referred to the Older Youth Program.
You would be a good fit for this position if you:
- Have a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field is preferred. A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Have experience in crisis intervention, family centered case management, social services organizations, and child abuse/neglect treatment/prevention required.
- Can be flexible and adapt to changing needs and time pressures.
- Have experience working with child protection services, school systems, juvenile courts, and public and private communities.

Salary Expectations:
Dependent on experience and licensure: $52,000 – $60,000.
