The Financial Program Analyst shall provide relevant and timely research that identifies potential the most current information and positions on the organizations financial status that supplies leadership with the required Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution (PPBE) information they need to make the best decisions possible for the USAF & DoD. The analyst also ties in requirements of the organization to ensure the best approach is taken to resource those requirements through the PPBE process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of mission tasks by developing and maintaining project management plans and schedules for the organization.
- Develop strategies to address potential solutions to complex problems.
- Develop and document requirements from project inception to conclusion.
- Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff.
- Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization, and/or maintenance efforts for specified mission-critical and program-related challenges/issues.
- Support establishment of goals and plans that meet project objectives, define studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions or courses of action to implement program decisions.
- Assist with defense and intelligence enterprise activities to address unconventional challenges by developing complementary public/private cooperation ideas.
- Aid in crafting communication strategies, roadmaps, and governance documents.
- Coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measuring activities.
- Participates in project performance review meetings and discussions.
- Support a cross-functional team with financial management and administrative support.

Experience:
- TS clearance, SCI eligible
- Bachelor’s Degree (required), master’s degree (preferred)
- Recent IT experience, cloud and/or data experience (preferred)
- Experience working with general officers, flag officers, senior executive service members (required)
- Familiarity with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution PPB&E system and processes (required)
- Program Management Level III or PMP (preferred)
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and/or AF administrative processes (required)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge/Familiarity with Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PBES), & IDECS are required
- Knowledge/Familiarity with DEAMS, ADVANA, and PowerBI (Preferred)
Compensation:
- $130k – $140k
