Join our Contract Pricing Analytics Team
Akamai’s Pricing and Contract Analytics team is seeking an analyst to support the company’s ongoing pricing and contract work. This analyst will provide data-driven insights into how products are sold. Also the internal processes used to sell, and the price points that the company can achieve.
Partner with the best
The Analyst will be a key enabler of the company’s Pricing Governance process. This includes producing analysis that identifing actionable trends and opportunities. The role will work closely with Finance, Deal Desk, and Product leadership. These collaborations will answer hypotheses, identify problems, propose solutions, and track the results of pricing initiatives. The role will inform on business decisions that maximize both market share and revenue.
As a Financial Analyst II, you will be responsible for:
- Acting as an internal consultant and trusted subject matter expert, utilizing quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
- Integrating and interpreting data across Finance, Deal Desk, and Product clients
- Improving the company’s agility and flexibility by using data to describe the pricing and packaging customer needs
- Synthesizing and transforming data from several large and unique datasets, using SQL and Excel
- Improving existing processes, reporting, and data sources to increase the speed, quality, and impact of reporting
- Scoping analytics requests, and think critically about new requests, and organizing your project-based workflows
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant experience
- Have experience with consulting/data analytics, large datasets, product pricing, predictive analytics, or financial modeling,
- Have proficient level of Excel, Moderate SQL, and some modeling experience
- Have ability to collaborate across a wide range of constituencies in a diverse corporate and client environment.

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $77,487 – $116,021/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
