Finance Systems Change Management – Sr. Consultant (US)
The team
Finance Systems implements and manages innovative solutions and changes in the US Finance application portfolio through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm. Joining the team provides an opportunity to drive the future vision of the Finance organization.
The work you’ll do
We are seeking exceptional candidates with experience and passion to join the change team within Finance Systems. As a part of the change team, you will play an important role in supporting changes related to Finance System’s applications, processes, and efficiency-driven solutions. You will support the design, implementation, and evolution of change strategies and plans to engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace the significant cultural and behavioral changes required to drive the business forward. You will perform change assessments for key stakeholder groups, develop and maintain the associated change management plans, and work closely with resources across the organization to execute on deliverables timely with high quality and foresight to potential obstacles.
Responsibilities include:
- Support the development and execution of fit-for-purpose change management strategies and plans; collaborate across program and technical teams to remain integrated with strategic initiatives
- Understand and utilize the appropriate communication outlets, vehicles, and tools to execute communications and training
- Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments such as stakeholder analysis and change impact assessments for key stakeholder groups to drive development of data-driven change strategies
- Identify training needs and partner with available resources to create and deliver training content and resources
- Plan, develop, and work with leadership and change networks to deliver communications and creative engagement activities, drive understanding about key changes
- Collaborate with Deloitte publication points-of-contact to ensure adherence to submission dates, templates, and standards
- Measure effectiveness of change interventions and evolve plans as needed to best drive adoption
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop an understanding of Finance application portfolio to inform change strategies
- Actively participate in project calls to gain understanding of upcoming functionality and timing to inform change planning
- Escalate risks and issues to change leadership as appropriate
The successful candidate will possess:
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically identify issues and determine recommended resolutions
- Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations
- Desire and drive to understand complex finance systems and processes, experience with SAP and supportive finance applications a plus
- Extremely high attention to detail with exceptional writing and editing skills
- Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive
- Ability to work well under pressure and effectively and professionally navigate tough situations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and confidentiality
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, change management, organization effectiveness or communications
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in change management and/or communications related to strategic transformations and technology implementations
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneNote)
- Minimal travel required.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Previous work experience with a professional services firm.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400 to $148,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
