Overview
The Finance Manager performs and manages accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting activities for OVG at Rupp Arena, Central Bank Center, and the Lexington Opera House.
This role will pay a salary of $55,000 to $65,000.

Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, and accounting
- Prepares and performs or assists with event settlements
- Prepares and performs bank reconciliations
- Manages accounts receivable processes
- Assists with the preparation of all financial reporting, including:
- Financial statements for the Client and OVG Corporate, and other financial reports, including monthly statements, Annual Budget and Annual Report
- Maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses
- Verifies and checks the accuracy of general ledger coding
- Directs and participates in cost analyses and rate studies
- Prepares and analyzes information for financial statements and reports
- Prepares statements and reports of estimated future costs and revenues
- External audit materials. Works with auditors in verifying financial information/procedures
- Reviews financial statements with management personnel
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year college or university;
- At least 3 to 5 years experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level
- Extensive knowledge of general and cost accounting
- Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite preferred, or similar accounting software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and organizational ability
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, in addition to normal business hours
- Must have professional attitude and appearance
