Final Packaging Lead (1st shift)

How you’ll make a difference:

Final Packaging lead will be responsible for leading packaging finished goods product to support inventory demands. Assisting Manufacturing Supervisor / Manager in overseeing production team to ensure all production operations are in compliance with SOP’s, current GNP’s, QSR< GTP< and Iso standards as well as company procedures. Your key responsibilities:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Set daily goals and targets. Delegate and assign daily work assignments to team members
  • Track and monitor team members’ productivity output throughout the shift
  • Ability to solve problems within the scope of applicable procedures & policies Ability to address performance issues and accountability to team members
  • Ability to promote changes and empowerment to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Assist team members throughout the shift to ensure completion of daily tasks.
  • Assist team members as necessary to support various projects for clean rooms, final pack.
  • Assist with review production batch records on regular basis.
  • Assist with and ensuring ERP move and material transactions are completely timely.
  • Assist Production Supervisor in overseeing the production team and process and provide updates regularly on team’s progress or issues if arises.
  • Assist and support PD and Engineering with operation requests.
  • Assist in reviewing log-books, documents and procedure on an on-going basis.
  • Promote efficiency, safety, creativity, cooperation, good attendance and teamwork among team members.
  • Assist with training team members applicable processes complete with documentation and/or update electronic training record, when applicable.
  • Enforce and audit team members to ensure compliancy with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead the team with Kanban review and maintenance
  • Provide inputs and feedbacks on performance evaluation for team members.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years’ experience in assembly, medical device packaging & labeling /production
  • Must be able to speak, write and read English with excellent understanding
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Individual must be punctual and have reliable attendance
  • Individual must be cooperative and willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow direction provided by authorized supervision
  • Knowledge of GMPs desired
  • Ability to perform repetitive task consistently and proficiently
  • Must be able to interact with peers, Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager
  • Must be proficient in tasks performed (after suitable training period) and have attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime, including evenings, weekends and holidays

The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $24.39 to $26.94 per hour, plus bonus, and benefits. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
