The Opportunity:
The UCF Recreation and Wellness Center seeks a Facilities Scheduler to join their team. This position is responsible for scheduling meeting rooms and sports facilities for recreational activities at the 16 sites around campus. The position will work with registered student organizations, departments as well as outside groups to book space and coordinate special events.

Responsibilities:

  • This position is responsible for the scheduling and reservation of the 16 different UCF recreational sites: RWC – Bldg. 88 (RWC), Bldg. 25, Outdoor Lap Pool, Leisure Pool, Tennis Courts, Leisure Pool Sand Volleyball Courts (4), RWC Softball field, RWC sport club field, Intramural field, RWC park turf fields (6), RWC Park restroom/storage facility, grills and pavilion for reservations, Challenge Course, Disc Course, RWC Lake Claire green area, 3 pavilions, beach front area with dock and boathouse and 2 sand volleyball courts.
  • Coordinates the equipment and operations of the 16 sites.
  • Supervises student assistants for 30 hours a week of work and assists with student supervision of the other facility student positions (85).
  • Facilitate and/or serve on RWC, SSWB, and UCF committees.
  • Manages inventory involved with scheduling these sites.
  • Responsible for Risk Management in areas of responsibility.
  • Manages all travel for the RWC full time and student staff. Includes conducting driver’s license checks (DAVID and following all of UCF Compliances policies and procedures.
  • Assists with RWC financial reconciliations, specifically the depositing of income.
  • Responsible for the coordination of checking out and inventory of keys, as well as the TRAKA box.
  • Serve as instructor for American Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED certification program.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
CPR/AED First Aid instructor certified.

Special Instructions to Applicants:
This position requires a valid Class E Driver’s License. This position may involve driving to various locations on & off campus to conduct University Business.

The selected candidate must be willing to get CPR/First Aid Certified.
