Exhibit Fabricator

Pay Rate – $16.00 – $18.00 per hour

Full-Time – Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, PTO, 9 company Holiday’s, 401K after 1 year of work.

As a member of the team, you will play an important role in creating exhibits at each of the five venues at Thanksgiving Point and will also have the chance to create cool things, like oversized games and backdrops, for big events such as Tulip Festival, Luminaria, and Dino Days.

Required Skills and Knowledge

An amazing Exhibit Technician will:

  • Know, understand, and have experience with
    • Best practices in exhibit fabrication or similar type of production.
    • Working in a team shop environment.
  • Demonstrate
    • A working knowledge of shop machines and equipment.
    • Understanding of shop safety protocols.
    • Knowledge of fabrication materials and processes.
    • Good mechanical, electrical, and engineering aptitude.
    • Proficiency in producing well-crafted projects.
    • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Be present.
    • Arrive on time and work your scheduled shifts.
    • Fully participate in training opportunities and on-the-job skill development.

    • Treat guest and team members with respect and professionalism.

  • Reports to: Exhibit Production Manager
  • Required hours: 40 hours per week (may include a Saturday or occasional evening shift)
  • Overtime hours: Occasional
