WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Provides security, protection, and transportation for top level executives. Assists in the resolution of workplace violence incidents. Participates in security related projects and assists with the supervision of onsite internal and contract security personnel.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Security, protection, and transportation of top-level executives, to and from corporate facilities, meetings, and events.
- Utilize excellent judgment while providing safe and defensive driving for executives.
- Provide overwatch and security at events and/or meetings attended by the executives.
- Responsible for the appearance, cleanliness, operation, maintenance, and security of the company vehicles.
- Conduct advances and surveys of meeting/special event locations prior to the executives’ arrival.
- Assist in providing security at City National Center.
- Assist with training for and responding to workplace violence incidents.
- Foster partnerships and work with Physical Security and Internal Investigations to determine corrective actions, as well as resolutions of security issues.
- Responsible for the management of security related projects at City National Center (to include Physical and Systems security). Onsite supervision of City National Center security staff (proprietary and contract security officers).
- Detail-orientated, and able to work well within a team.
- All other appropriate duties as required.
WHAT DO YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
Must-Have*
- Minimum 7 years of experience in providing security protection and transportation of top level executives/high level principals
- Valid CA driver’s license
- Completion of professional Anti-Kidnapping/Executive Protection driving school
Skills and Knowledge
- Good judgment and common sense in the arenas of transporting, escorting, and protecting executives.
- Must be able to evaluate stressful situations, make appropriate decisions and act in a timely manner.
- Ability to interact with bank colleagues, S&P members, Executives, Board of Directors, visitors, outside security personnel, vendors, and law enforcement agencies, in a professional manner.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Good driving history.
- Excellent knowledge of executive protection or law enforcement equivalent.
- Knowledge of physical security principles and applications.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (identify issues, analyze root causes, structure problem assessments, develop options and recommendations).
- Possess a high level of tactical acumen.
- Professional deportment.
- Law enforcement/military background (preferred).
- Outstanding listening skills, and ability to patiently, constructively interact with others who may be experiencing challenges with a current situation.
- Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity and rapid change.
- Good facilitation and influencing skills – able to work with and provide direction to the various levels of bank seniority.
- First aid/CPR training.
Compensation
Starting base salary: $31.39 – $50.14 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
