Description
SUMMARY
- Install Security, Access, Sound, Intercom, Camera, and Life Safety systems for clients in timely matter.
- Install and Service any and all low voltage systems.
- Provide the industry’s best client service.
- Have working knowledge of all company used products.
- Use your good judgment in all situations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. The employee is expected to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external clients.
- Demonstrates superior seamless customer service, integrity, and commitment to innovation, efficiency, and fiscally responsible activity.
- Install Special systems and Life Safety systems to all company standards, Local and National codes. Communicate daily job condition as required, with office and clients.
- Answer questions, concerns regarding installation or service.
- Remain aware of changes in the field by reading, and attend training provided.
- Diagnose problems or malfunctions and accomplish repairs in a minimal amount of time.
- Process all required and needed paperwork timely.
- Perceive the full range of the color spectrum in working with electrical wires. Assist associates with technical questions.
- Present and maintain a professional image for customers including assigned work area and company vehicle.
Make sure no system is left J or in an unarmed condition at anytime.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or (GED) required. Trade school and/or some related experience a plus.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and installation manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Other Work-Related Skills and Abilities
Must be computer and software literate. Must be able to handle and set up different size ladders, scaffolding and operate different types of lifts. Must be able to use proper safety equipment for related tasks and personal protection.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently to climb ladders, scaffolding, operate lifts, handle twisting and turning under different conditions, attic, crawl spaces etc. The employee is also often required to stand and walk for a length of time: use hands to finger, handle, and climb or balance, perform manual labor such as digging trenches, post holes, mixing concrete, running heavy duty power tools and other like tools to perform the required job. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Must be able to handle working in outdoor weather conditions performing manual labor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
It is essential that in a work environment of job-related stress and pressure, the employee is able to effectively interact with coworkers, supervisors, and customers in a professional, cooperative, and productive manner. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to highly noisy and the pace of the work is rapid, with many time deadlines. Work in small, cramped areas, such as ceiling spaces, and equipment. Working in outdoor weather conditions performing manual labor at all times of the year.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check & drug test
- Valid Arizona Driver’s license with a good driving record
- Obtain OSHA certification within 90 days of employment (company paid)
