This position is for a Sr. Electronics Engineer in the field of embedded electronic systems with focus on electronic hardware and component development for our dispenser products. Daily activities will include analyzing requests of new models and features to determine feasibility, designing, and delivering electronic hardware and components with associated documentation specific to our products, ensuring the quality by testing and troubleshooting designs. The person will work in small team of electronics engineers in close cooperation with other engineering teams (software, mechanical, etc.) and other business functions within the company from different locations around the world.
Required Skills & Experience
Position Responsibilities:
* Design equipment, assemblies, subassemblies, and parts, for fueling solutions. Interact with global team to use global components whenever possible.
* Prepare and test prototypes of equipment, components, PCBs, and test equipment, specifying materials/equipment to be used and acceptance criteria.
* Create and perform change management of bills of materials, drawings, internal technical standards, and operation sheets, to ensure the required specifications and quality standards are met.
* Generate design releases in PLM and ERP Systems.
* Work with external teams on specifications and requirements for third party components.
* Documentation and testing of PCB Level Designs and third-party components.
* Troubleshoot issues found in the systems to determine root cause (HW/SW) and determine suitable corrective actions.
* Develops and implement new products, processes, standards, or operational plans.
Qualification Requirements:
* Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering is required.
* 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware development.
* Must have good understanding of hardware electronic designs incorporating micro controllers.
* Excellent problem solving, research and analysis and technical skills.
* Experience with project planning and task management systems such as MS Project and Jira.
