Job Description

Overall Job Summary: The Ecommerce Category Lead for Mexico, Colombia, and Ecuador will contribute to added customer value, a strong brand, and maximized profitable selling by ensuring a positive customer experience and day to day operations for your concept in the short and long term. You work in close partnership with cross-functional partners to drive ecommerce sales and align on goals with the customer central to all your work. You are an expert on your customer with a specific focus on products and assortment. You drive local strategy and execution of commercial agenda and merchandising strategy in close collaboration with sales market and regional stakeholders. You collaborate and provide input to regional team partners about ecommerce, customer needs, and shopping tendencies to inform planning and meet the customer needs.

This position is based in New York, NY within our Customer Activation and Marketing function, and reports to the E-Commerce Manager MX/CO/EC.

Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Maximize profitable net sales for your concept – short and long term

  • Drive profitable net sales and day-to-day operations and execution of your concept in your markets by optimizing internal exposure (ranking) and external exposure (ex. Google shopping)
  • Have a deep knowledge of and ability to clearly communicate sales situation to a variety of stakeholders with varying expertise in ecommerce (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual/ad hoc)
  • Set action plans to increase selling based on data and analysis and follow up on actions taken
  • Identify opportunities, threats and set priorities for your concept based on biggest impact to sales/customer
  • Drive conversion on concept based on learnings from customer need and behavior
  • Secure product exposure on external communication and on site to optimize stock performance and profitable sales
  • Chart a path forward for your concept through partnerships with key stakeholders (web optimization, testing, omni merch)

Know your customers

  • Work with the commercial plan and set goals to give customers what they want while driving a high level of salesmanship throughout the assortment and presentation
  • Align with key partners to set sales goals and execution strategy (ex. regional, CX operations, commercial team); understand regional strategy and add local layer for your sales market where relevant and impactful; partner with your store commercial team to ensure customer experience is cohesive between channels
  • Follow up on performance with a focus on product performance with consideration for customer segments (who bought which of your products)
  • Partner with key stakeholders (ex. logistics) to ensure the site is set up for success at key commercial moments (ex. campaigns); secure sellable product reflected on site in partnership with those stakeholders
  • Prepare commercial reviews to identify key wins and opportunities going forward
  • Be the expert of your market, customer expectations and competitors; set action plan accordingly to deliver the most competitive customer offer

Assortment management

  • Day to day operations connected to product lifecycle management by working with internal and external levers to drive stock turnover in line with goals
  • Close partnership with retail counterparts in assortment management for markets with omni-inventory
  • Day to day evaluation of product performance and product displayed on site to ensure we target the right customers with the right assortment
  • Partnership with key stakeholders connected to reduction periods to share knowledge of site behavior to inform sale selection + understanding of sale strategy to create strong experience on site balancing full price and sale messaging

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Merchandising
  • 4+ years of e-commerce, site merchandising or web analytics experience
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly analytical, structured, organized, and efficient.
  • Ability to analyze, consolidate, and draw conclusions from data from multiple sources
  • Ambitious team player with drive and willingness to take initiative and make decisions with the customer top of mind
  • Ability to balance short-, mid-, and long-term priorities in crafting the best customer experience
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Technologically savvy
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Advanced Google Analytics, Power BI, SAS Tableau, or Cognos capabilities
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time

Compensation:

Hiring Range is $112,811 – $126,912 annually**

This role is eligible for an annual company performance-based bonus
