Job Description
MV Transportation is seeking a DriveCam Manager who shall effectively manage all aspects of DriveCam. The essential job functions are daily downloads of all DriveCam events from all vehicles.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily coaching of operators based on DriveCam events
- Ensure cameras are working at all times
- Review film clips of vehicle events from previous service day
- Retrain operator for near collision events
- Define and manage data files by combining information from corporate (e.g., DriveCam, Mobile Eye and iCIMS) with local operations data on trips and drivers.
- Perform quality assurance checks on the data file and own the accuracy and timeliness of the data files.
- Partner with corporate and division Finance staff to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Investigate cost saving opportunities thoroughly and persistently with an eye to impact on cost, operational efficiency, customer service, with direction from General Manager.
- Develop and pull reports as needed for division KPIs.
- Develop new KPIs as directed to track and measure success of initiatives.
- Document and revise repeatable workflows and processes for more efficiency.
- Create and complete reports from the system as needed and email to the field
- Notify Management of any “serious” events that will require immediate actions
- Provide information to management that will help to improve the use of the DriveCam product
- Keep all information confidential and discuss only as directed by Safety Department
- Perform other duties as required and assigned by supervisor
Talent Requirements
- Must be capable of using Excel to manage, import, clean and analyze data files.
- Familiar with operational and financial data fields used at division.
- Good listener and communicator who can accurately understand direction and share findings in writing with corporate and local teams to stakeholders and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Good critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
- Organized – able to juggle multiple competing projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates high level of detail-orientation, gets the data right the first time.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver results.
- High level of flexibility to solve problems in a changing environment.
- Able to work well on a team.
- Prefer advanced experience with data analysis in Power BI.
- Experience is safety organizations a strong positive.
Starting pay range: $28/hour – $31/hour
