Donor Services Representative

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE POSITION SUMMARY:

The Donor Services Representative will process all financial donations and handle donor inquiries.

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE CORE WORK PRINCIPLE:

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Open and sort mail.
  • Scan, encode, sort and box batches, as required.
  • Verify all scanned images against originals and make corrections, as necessary.
  • Produce daily donation reports for received donations.
  • Verify, reconcile, and prepare daily bank deposits.
  • Correspond with and respond to donor inquiries, requests, and update information, as needed.
  • Monitor and address emails on URM (Union Rescue Mission) website.
  • Produce and send gift acknowledgment letters, tribute cards, and other correspondence.
  • Track and follow up on matching gift requests from employers.
  • Fill in and cross train with mail room duties.
  • Filing, faxing, photocopying, shredding and other general office duties.
  • Must be able to work overtime and weekends, as needed.
  • Conduct other tasks and projects as assigned by the Assistant Controller.

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Requirements

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND LICENSURES:

  • Associates degree or higher, preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year related experience preferred (processing gifts, operating, and maintaining database).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforces, Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

DONOR SERVICES REPRESENTATIVE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Must have excellent customer service skills.
  • Work well under pressure with periodic heavy workloads.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must have 10 key experience.

$18.50 – $20.90 (depending on experience)
