The RoleWe are looking for an ambitious, analytical, and collaborative product marketer director to lead our rapidly growing product marketing team.

Owning all product marketing initiatives for our entire solution suite, you will drive positioning and messaging, manage launches, lead strategy on collateral, enable sales and weigh in on the right combination of features and pricing to maximize customer value and satisfaction. Working with your team, you will create and execute campaigns that drive product expansion and present new opportunities for efficiencies for our existing and future customers.

Working collaboratively with our Product, Marketing, Engineering, Partnerships and Customer Success teams, you will also be making decisions that inform our product roadmap, and influence future product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product managers and content marketers as they develop the technology roadmap to identify key value drivers and set the GTM strategy across our solution suite
  • Partner with marketing to deliver external marketing communications across channels
  • Build and lead the product marketing team and oversee business-level messaging and positioning, and competitive product marketing
  • Work collaboratively with our customer success team to identify and segment target customers
  • Oversee the development of product messaging and content across all platforms, including our website, social media channels, product listing pages, email marketing, paid campaigns, internal and external communications, press releases, and more
  • Work closely with customer success to monitor product feedback and improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Proactively collaborate across all marketing teams including digital marketing, content and design, events operations, channel, operations and beyond
  • Own sales enablement, supporting the sales team through a complex sales process
  • Create compelling marketing collateral that simplifies a complex topic while driving broad awareness and interest
  • Understand and document our buyer’s process, including where they get information, and the who, what, when, and why behind the decisions they make
  • Become an advocate for the Plate IQ brand to ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the overall brand
  • Partner with product, sales, and marketing teams on several key solutions within the Marketing portfolio
  • Become an internal expert in finance, accounting, AP automation, expense/spend management and payments solutions

Ingredients

  • Fantastic storytelling skills and ability to communicate and translate technical issues to business values
  • Demonstrated experience writing blogs, delivering webinars, and presenting to existing and future clients
  • At least 4-5 years of product marketing or go-to-market experience working in the B2B SaaS space
  • Previous success crafting compelling positioning and marketing content for SaaS start-ups; preferably in FinTech
  • You are extremely self-motivated, believe all problems can be solved, and desire to make an impact and you are looking for an exciting challenge
  • Experience working with product and engineering teams and the ability to translate from customers to engineers (and vice versa)
  • Influence: Define and present innovative ideas to the product marketing team and get buy-in to support your big ideas
  • Proven success developing and executing go-to-market plans for SaaS or cloud services in FinTech
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, business acumen and proven ability to create senior management-level presentations
  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing
  • 3+ years of experience leading and inspiring a team of product and content marketers through empathy and trust
  • Proficiency in WordPress, Salesforce, and Marketo a huge plus
