Responsibilities
Position Requires Candidate to be located in the Colorado Springs, CO area. NO remote telecommuting allowed, however, occasional telework is allowed. In office rotation is required about 4x per month (2 days per pay period).
Peraton is seeking a Software Developer (WebTAS SME) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. The qualified applicant will join our team supporting a large scale national security credentialing system in a complex, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a large credentialing system. The Software Developer (WebTAS SME) will be responsible for WebTAS application development and integration including query building, dashboard construction, and product output design. The candidate should also be experienced in analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting, user interface design and development, mobile application development, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps, and Test automation.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required; must have the ability to obtain /maintain a Secret level Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 8-10 years experience or Masters degree and 6-8 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years relevant experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience on complex technical projects, including hands-on, working knowledge of the following products:
- WebTAS (1-3 years)
- SQL Server (1-3 years)
- Apache Tomcat (1-3 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- WebTAS application development and integration including query building, dashboard construction, and product output design.
- Analysis of trends and patterns, query development and reporting.
- Web Services/Internal and Enterprise Service Bus.
- User interface design and development.
- Geospatial analysis.
- Experience with engaging diverse stakeholder groups, and collaborating with system users to elicit requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, professional documentation.
- ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP).
- Federal and/or DHS/TSA experience.
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and DevOps.
- Test automation.
- Hands-on, working knowledge of the IBM MQ and GitLab/Mattermost.

Range for Posting
Salary Minimum: $57,500
Salary Mid: $115,000
Salary Maximum: $143,800
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton’s total compensation package for employees.
