DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Partner with all lines of business (LOBs) within the Corporate Investment Bank (CIB) on strategic product development efforts, focusing on enabling data discovery for various use cases. Drive value by bringing Data Catalog products and solutions to teams across the entire firm. Partner with the Data Engineering Technology team to ensure the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization is clearly understood and efficiently executed. Work in close partnership with all LOBs (Markets, Operations, Investment Banking, etc.) to ensure product roadmap is collectively aligned to the firm’s strategic vision, while being mindful of business requirements across the entirety of the CIB. Collaborate with the firm’s Design and User Experience teams, providing clear requirements derived from user research to develop a best-in- class platform offering. Partner with the firm’s data scientists in Applied Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning to tackle problems suitable for machine learning solutions. Assist with securing the right data needed for a solution, in the right way, in compliance with the firm’s policies. Influence the design of data science solutions to deliver for multiple stakeholders simultaneously. Partner with the Data Engineering Technology team to ensure the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization is clearly understood and efficiently executed. Collaborate with the firm’s Design and User Experience teams, providing clear requirements derived from user research to develop a best-in-class platform offering. Manage the functional and technical requirements of business stakeholders to support their core requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, Product Management, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a a Doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer/Developer, Product Management, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: researching, organizing, and analyzing client needs; using a combination of vision, usage metrics, and market, user, and competitor research to ensure the development of appropriate digital products; Product Management including business analysis, owning product roadmap, project management, and business and project plans; working with products that use large data sets; building and delivering products within Data and Analytics space; building scalable Digital Platforms, shared components, and services that can serve at least two (2) distribution channels; data management; working with various stakeholders, including business owners, technology, operations, legal and compliance, and marketing and sales; presenting digital product offerings and values to business partners; “as-a-service” models; and capabilities of the public Cloud.

Job Location: 575 Washington Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07310. This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $262,621 – $285,000 per year.
