Summary:
As a Software Developer III – Guidewire, you will be an invaluable member of our dynamic technology team, assuming a leadership role in the development and modification of complex application systems. Leveraging your robust understanding of standard programming procedures and techniques, you will devise innovative technology solutions that directly contribute to our organizational goals. You will work closely with system architects, designing, coding, and testing application programs with a focus on quality assurance. Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your proficiency in software development to design and modify intricate application systems using the Guidewire platform.
- Partner with system architects to design, code, and implement application programs, adhering to agile methodologies.
- Execute multiple test transactions for quality assurance, identifying programming errors and adjusting programs as necessary.
- Conduct a comprehensive analysis of organizational needs and goals, applying your superior problem-solving skills to foster the development and implementation of application systems.
- Thoroughly document program installation and operating procedures, demonstrating a keen eye for detail.
- Propose and design innovative technology solutions that align with evolving business needs, embodying a spirit of creativity.
- Use your interpersonal skills and technical expertise to mentor and guide other team members, making complex technical terms accessible to all.
- Uphold all corporate policies and procedures while efficiently managing other assigned responsibilities.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
- Proven experience with the Guidewire platform.
- Solid understanding of standard programming procedures and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar role within the software development industry.
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimsCenter.
- Certification in Guidewire or related software.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical terms into everyday language.
- Ability to design, code, and test application programs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to conduct complex analyses.
- Excellent documentation skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to train other employees
Salary Range: $86,000-$135,600
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
