Deputy Attorney General, Special Prosecutions Unit
Salary DOE with minimum salary of $90,000 per year. The successful applicant will be assigned to the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit, which prosecutes a wide range of cases, including public corruption, internet crimes against children, and other serious felonies. Duties of this position include handling all aspects of criminal prosecution, from screening and charging through trial and sentencing; working closely with in-house investigators; and appearing in courtrooms throughout Idaho.
Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Jury trial experience is required. At least two years of prosecution experience is preferred. Applicant must be willing to occasionally travel throughout the state and must be comfortable handling cases with media attention. Enthusiasm for public service is essential.
